We don’t just lay pavers on top of the ground and hope for the best. Proper installation begins beneath the surface. Our process starts with complete excavation to proper depth, followed by a compacted crushed stone base that ensures drainage and prevents settling. We use a precise sand leveling layer to create a perfectly flat surface, then hand-set each paver with careful attention to pattern and spacing. Every installation includes edge restraints to prevent shifting and polymeric sand swept into joints to lock the system together and resist weed growth. This multi-layer approach is why our paver projects stay level and beautiful year after year, even through Hunterdon County’s harsh winters.

Well-installed pavers can last for decades, and unlike poured concrete, an individual paver that settles or cracks can be lifted and replaced without redoing the whole surface.
